I trained at the European School of Osteopathy in Kent, where I learned a wide range of hands-on techniques to assess and treat the body. This included traditional osteopathic approaches, as well as cranial and visceral methods, and newer, evidence-based techniques such as high-velocity thrusts. This broad training means I can adapt treatments to suit each person’s needs — whether they’re dealing with pain, recovering from injury, or just looking to feel more balanced.
In my practice, I take time to understand not just the symptoms, but the person as a whole. I’ll ask about your general health, lifestyle, work, and movement habits to get a full picture of what’s going on. I believe osteopathy works best when it’s collaborative, so I aim to create treatment plans that make sense for you — both in the clinic and between sessions. I also incorporate sports massage into treatments when it’s helpful, which can support recovery and improve how your body feels day-to-day.
A Holistic Approach for All Ages
One of the things I love about osteopathy is its adaptability. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, from active adults with sports injuries, to office workers with back or neck pain, to parents bringing in their babies or children for gentle cranial treatment.
I have a particular interest in treating headaches — which often have a postural, muscular, or stress-related component. Using a combination of osteopathic techniques, I aim to address not just the symptoms but the underlying causes, offering relief and longer-term support.
I also enjoy working with babies and children, using gentle cranial and structural techniques to support their development, ease tension, and help with common issues like unsettled sleep, feeding difficulties, or growing pains. If you’re curious about cranial osteopathy, I’m always happy to talk through what it involves and whether it might be suitable.
What to Expect in a Session
Your first session will include a full consultation, where we’ll talk through your health history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. I’ll carry out an assessment, then explain what I’ve found and how I can help. If it’s appropriate, I’ll begin treatment in that first session — or we’ll make a plan for the next steps.
Treatment is always tailored to you. Some people respond best to subtle, gentle work like cranial or visceral techniques. Others benefit from firmer structural approaches, like joint mobilisation or soft tissue release. Often it’s a combination — and we’ll adapt it as we go.
I’ll also offer advice on posture, movement, stretches, or lifestyle where relevant, to help you get the most out of your treatment and support your progress between appointments.
Now Based in Brighton & Hove
After spending time practising in Germany, I’ve returned to the UK and am now based in the Brighton & Hove area. I’m thrilled to be by the sea — and to be part of such a vibrant and welcoming community. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll often find me outdoors, sailing or walking along the coast.
I’m available for appointments at the clinic on Wednesdays and Saturdays, offering osteopathy and sports massage.
If you’re unsure whether osteopathy is right for you, feel free to get in touch — I’m always happy to answer questions. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a long-term condition, or just want to feel more at ease in your body, I’d love to help.
